Our Services

AUSLAN INTERPRETING – We facilitate communication between Deaf & hearing individuals, by interpreting between Australian Sign Language (Auslan) and spoken English. We work in various settings e.g. school, clinic, work & community events. We ensure accurate, impartial, and culturally sensitive interpretation.
You can access:
1. Face-to-Face Interpreting – An interpreter comes to your location for in-person communication support.

2. Video Relay Interpreting (VRI) – An interpreter provides you services remotely via video call, offering a flexible and accessible alternative.

AUSLAN TRAINING – We provide tailored learning experiences to suit your specific needs. To provide you with the best service, we have a variety of different training options. Whether you are after one-on-one services for learning Auslan, Signed English or Key word Sign or want to book into our group sessions, we can cater for your particular needs.

Our customised training is our most popular service here at Visual Communication Consultants.
We focus on Practical Communication Skills e.g. key signs, Deaf culture, Deaf history, and Specific Vocabulary. Training can be adapted for beginners to advanced learners. We ensure you gain confidence in using Australian Sign Language (Auslan) in real-life interactions.
