Short Term Accommodation (STA) – including Respite

At VCC, Short Term Accommodation (STA) provides you with the opportunity to stay in a supportive environment away from your usual home, while continuing to receive the care you need. Previously known as respite, STA is designed to support both participants and their families or carers.

We work alongside you to ensure your stay aligns with your goals—whether that’s building independence, developing new skills, or simply enjoying a change of environment. Our team can assist in connecting you with suitable providers and coordinating supports so your experience is seamless and meaningful.

STA typically includes accommodation, personal care, meals, and support with daily activities. Whether it’s a planned break or additional support during a transition, VCC is here to help you access the right options and make the most of your NDIS plan.

The Visual Communication Consultants Hub offers tailored Short-Term Accommodation (STA) Services, designed to meet the unique needs of each participant. Our STA packages provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for individuals with disabilities.

FUN & NEW SKILLS AT OUR SHORT TERM ACCOMMODATION

Amberlee flew from Karratha to Broome for her STA (respite).

She enjoyed the local attractions like camel rides on cable beach, meeting new friends, visiting Streeters Jetty and learning independent living skills like shopping.
